ARROYO GRANDE, SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — November 4, 2026. Arroyo Grande’s two ballot proposals show Yes majorities in separate preliminary counts.
Preliminary vote
On Measure C-26, a conditional 10% cannabis-business sales tax proposal, the tracker lists 3,363 Yes (66.1%) and 1,722 No (33.9%). On Measure D-26, relating to the city’s ability to participate in the State Water Project without the previous voter-approval or emergency requirement, the reported totals are 2,902 Yes (58.4%) and 2,064 No (41.6%).
What the numbers mean
The measures are independent decisions: Measure C-26 does not by itself authorize cannabis sales; Measure D-26 addresses city restrictions involving State Water Project participation. Neither early majority is certified, and the ballot text governs the exact legal consequences.
Source and reporting cutoff
