ARROYO GRANDE — November 4, 2026. Two Arroyo Grande City Council districts have one named candidate each on the November 3 ballot.
What the early count shows
In District 1, Kate Secrest has 1,082 reported candidate votes. In District 4, Jim Guthrie has 733 reported candidate votes.
How to interpret the vote
Both races are reported as 100% for the single ballot-listed candidate. That figure is not the share of all registered voters and does not rule out undervotes. These are district-specific offices rather than an at-large council election, and results still require certification.
Next official result
This article refers to the county’s fourth unofficial election-night update, approximately 1:47 a.m. November 4. More eligible ballots remained to be counted. All outcomes and quoted totals are preliminary until the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder completes the canvass and certifies the vote. Refer to the county’s official election results page for any later figures.
